We’re excited to be delivering a new magazine to the Birmingham area, and we hope you’ll become a regular reader.

Experts tell us we live in an era of specialization, yet most of us find ourselves wearing a number of different hats. Beyond our individual professions, we are spouses, parents, soccer coaches, socialites, volunteers, short order cooks, and athletes in training. And that’s just on Thursdays.

Our working lives are larger than our office hours, which is why Birmingham Works! is designed to provide a perspective that covers not only business, but also life outside the boardroom. We want to speak to our readers wherever they work, live, and play, and we want to do so in ways that are both entertaining and informative.
